Ciba Specialty Chemicals join rush to announce price rises

In a wave of announcements, Ciba today joined others in announcing price rises citing the reasons for the move as:

• Higher raw material, energy and transport costs

The increases will be, 'with immediate effect', across the entire product portfolio, some in excess of 20%.
