Ciba acquire Lansmont's Testing Services Group

Ciba Specialty Chemicals announced that it has acquired Lansmont's Testing Services Group.

The acqisition is intended to strengthen its Pira International activities (acquired in 2004) by:

• Expanding Pira’s services into the US market and give a more global service
  
• Establishing a leading global consulting and testing services business in the packaging market
