Dow Corning introduce new silicone concentrate antifoam for the pulp industry

Dow Corning Corporation, recently introduced a new silicon-based foam control agent for chemical pulping – Dow Corning® AF-7500 PulpAid Concentrate.

The product features are:

• high solids emulsion
• complies with FDA and BfR recommendations for use in indirect food contact applications.
• designed for easy dilution with either tap water or demineralized water along with a small amount of an antimicrobial agent to produce stable, lower-solids emulsions – eliminating the need for extensive product scale-up time and costly production equipment
